THE NEW ERA
OF SRMC

A Minecraft survival world built on the ruins of a fallen kingdom. Build a new civilization in the light of the Government, or carve out your legacy in the lawless dark of the Old Kingdom.

The story

A kingdom fell.
Something new is rising from it.

Long ago, the land was ruled by a prosperous nation known as the Old Kingdom — cities, markets, forts, mines, and trade routes stretching across the map. Then a great war tore it apart. Infrastructure collapsed, settlements were abandoned, and central authority disappeared. Raiders, criminal groups, and survivors carved up what remained.

The Kingdom was never restored. Its territory became what players now call the Anarchy Zone — lawless, dangerous, and full of lost wealth.

Survivors regrouped in safer land and founded a new Government. Around its capital, protected settlements began to grow — the beginning of the modern Survival Area.

The present-day world is a civilization starting over, with the remains of its past still standing close by. The Government wants stability and reconstruction. The Old Kingdom offers freedom, danger, and the consequences of the war that ended it. Every player exists somewhere between the two.

Two forces shaping the world

The GovernmentStability, development, trade, and reconstruction. A new capital built by the survivors of the war.
The Old KingdomFreedom, danger, conflict, and lost wealth. What's left of the nation that fell.

Every system serves

Build — Trade — Explore — Risk — Rebuild

The world

Three zones. Three reasons to log in.

A new player should understand where they are and why it matters within minutes — order and safety near the capital, freedom and opportunity the further out they go.

I — CAPITAL

Government Zone

Meet — Learn — Trade — Organize

The new capital, and the first place every player sees. A growing semi-medieval city rather than a finished empire — Parliament, the Court, Police, and the Bank exist to make the world feel alive and give players useful services, not to become a political simulator.

Rules
  • PvP and griefing disabled
  • Building restricted, raiding disabled
  • Safe trading and NPC services
  • Public shops and server info
Landmarks
  • Parliament Hall & Central Court
  • Police Station & Bank
  • Central Marketplace
  • Hall of Legacy & Transport Hub
II — CIVILIZATION

Survival Area

Live — Build — Trade — Progress

The main SMP, and where most players spend their time. Settlements grew here after the war, protected but far from finished. Everything a casual player needs to enjoy Minecraft exists in Survival — no one is forced into PvP or roleplay to have fun.

Rules
  • PvP disabled or tightly controlled
  • Griefing and raiding prohibited
  • Land claims, homes, and TPA enabled
  • Player shops and full economy
Players can
  • Build homes and grow towns
  • Farm, mine, and trade
  • Open businesses and shops
  • Work on public rebuilding projects
III — OLD KINGDOM

Anarchy Zone

Risk — Explore — Fight — Loot

The former Old Kingdom itself — not a random second world with PvP switched on. Ruined palaces, broken highways, guard towers, and hidden vaults still stand as evidence a civilization once lived here. Higher opportunity, in exchange for real risk. No one needs Anarchy to play Minecraft — they enter because they want something valuable.

Rules
  • PvP and raiding fully enabled
  • Claims disabled or heavily limited
  • TPA and /back restricted
  • Theft and criminal play possible
Ruins to find
  • Destroyed Royal Palace & Old Bank
  • Military forts & guard towers
  • Secret bunkers & hidden vaults
  • Collapsed bridges & broken highways
Gameplay loop

Every path leads somewhere — none of them are mandatory.

Builder, merchant, explorer, guard, or outlaw — the loop stays the same, but how you move through it is entirely your choice.

Economy & rebuilding

A player-driven economy, and a world that visibly heals.

Survival provides what players need. Anarchy and events provide more of what players want — the marketplace stays alive because it depends on players, not NPC shops that sell everything.

Reputation

Two ladders. Every player picks which one to climb.

Reputation mainly unlocks prestige, titles, and cosmetics — never a combat advantage strong enough to make established players unbeatable.

The Reclamation

The season doesn't end with the Ender Dragon. In its final weeks, the Government prepares its largest operation yet — entering a major district of the Old Kingdom to attempt to restore it. Community projects determine the infrastructure available. Crime Hour results shape the balance of power. Anarchy groups prepare to defend what's theirs.

The outcome becomes part of the lore of the season that follows. Players leave a legacy, not just a completed world.

Design philosophy

The rules the whole gamemode is built on.

01

Keep it understandable. A new player should get the three zones in under five minutes.

02

Never force roleplay. Gameplay should naturally create stories on its own.

03

Risk must have reward. Anarchy has to offer opportunities worth the danger.

04

Objectives over kills. Crime Hours reward smuggling and recovery more than repetitive PvP.

05

The world must change. Players should visibly see development across the season.

06

Protect new players. Established players should never be able to farm beginners.
